It’s been one year since my first Volks doll came home.
I bought Rome without having a specific character in mind for him; but he has evolved over time into a quiet boy, that has a dark streak to him that sometimes surfaces.
He is not photographed as much as the other SD13 boys I have, but is still, very much loved.
Happy 1st anniversary! 
It’s Halloween today, and Messer’s costume is to dress like a girl. 
I’ll post again later today because October 31st is also a very special day. ^_^

Going back home to Singapore for a visit at year’s end, and planning to spend some time visiting old friends and haunts.
Am even planning with another friend to help out at the toystore we used to work at over the Christmas period with gift wrapping.
Oddly enough, I cannot wait! 
My brain is about to explode.
Everyone just breathe and take 2 steps back and reassess if all this is really necessary. 
Work has been busy lately; usual story of too much work, not enough staff, and the ones that are there aren’t trained properly. It gets frustrating when you’ve mentioned to the boss about recurring productivity issues and there aren’t any changes at all, even after months.
I’m sort of glad to be leaving the company at the end of next month – it’s been fun working there for most parts, but it’s also time to move on. I’ll have a month’s holiday back in Singapore to look forward to before coming back and starting a new chapter of my life.

Is depressed that I am 6 months older than Tsubasa.
Okay, does anyone else find it bizzare and a bit creepy when people send you messages and they are more familiar with you than you are with them?
I don’t even KNOW what your actual name is, buddy. I am NOT your “old friend”, so please stop telling me your sob stories and wait for any replies from me, because it ain’t happening.
Went to my usual camera store today after work to take a look at some bags – figured it was time I considered one since I’m finally slowing down with dolly purchases, and want to concentrate on building up a decent family of lenses; hence would need something to carry the dslr body and spare lenses in.
They didn’t have a large range available instore today, but I ended up getting a new lens. *oops* 
Been wanting a general but decent telezoom lens for daily/travel photos, and ended up with the Canon 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS today. Nothing too flash, but is lightweight and I think would serve the purpose.
Was paying for the lens and making small talk with the staff and when I was leaving, I wished him a good weekend ahead, and his reply? “Keep dry!” It was drizzling outside and his reply made me smile. For all he cared, I could have a mediocre weekend, but for gawd’s sake, keep that new lens dry! 
Can’t wait to try the new lens tomorrow at Singapore Day!
