On display

Monday, March 30th, 2009

There’s an ongoing project in Newcastle called Renew Newcastle, and I’ve been following it for a while. Its aim is to find short and medium term uses for disused spaces in the Newcastle CBD.

I was very excited when one of the projects was a photography gallery called Gallery RAW. It’s hard to find a gallery locally that is dedicated to solely photographic work, and this one also has plans for future workshops and meetups at the premises.

3 of my photos are currently part of an exhibition at the gallery. The exhibition is called “It Must Be Art!” and it showcases works of Flickr photographers from Newcastle and the Hunter Region. I’m very excited and honoured to have my photos be a part of this exhibition!

If you are in the area, please do take the time to stop by the gallery and take a look! There are a total of 70 prints on display by various photographers and the prints are also available for purchase directly from the gallery.

Home cooking

One of the simple pleasures in life is to be able to sit down to a homecooked meal.

Home sweet home

We’ve been living in the new house for a couple of days, and even though there is still much to be unpacked and organised, I’m finally able to add some personal touches to the place.

Can’t wait to be rid of all my packing boxes at some stage (hopefully soon)!

Yay!

Am finally spending my first night in my new house. So excited!

Nearly there!

We still have heaps to trasnport to the house, but we’ve decided that we’re going to start calling it home tomorrow and move in.

As it is, I’m currently typing this post from the new house – I got the ADSL2+ set up this afternoon! Yay!

Busy busy busy

Started the house moving process today. Am so tired right now, and we still have so much more to move.

Untamed

Sometimes, I think it would be nice to just be away to run away and not have a care in the world.
